Atlanticomnium SA, manager of the GAM Star Credit Opportunities is pleased to announce the appointment of Anthony Giret as Credit Analyst. Anthony joins the analyst team led by Romain Miginiac, Head of Research, and strengthens the teams’ credit research capabilities to four analysts. As part of his new role, Anthony will focus on analyzing corporates, with a particular bias towards hybrid debt of investment grade issuers. His appointment follows the appointment of Yi Qian in December 2019 as credit analyst, who joined from AXA to work with Romain Miginiac and Lydie Favre-Felix.
Anthony Giret brings strong credit analysis experience to the firm. Before joining us, he worked for seven years as a credit analyst at Spread Research, an independent credit research firm and credit rating agency. He was mostly covering corporate bonds in the European high yield market. His tasks also included issuing and monitoring Spread Research’s credit ratings, and analysing private debt issuances. He holds a master’s degree in finance from IAE Lyon, and also attended the Copenhagen Business School and Ottawa’s Carleton University as an exchange student. Anthony is a CFA Charterholder.
